Graham Towler
Graham was born in Bournemouth. He studied architectural illustration and life drawing at Bournemouth College of Art between 1971 and 1975. After leaving Art College he became employed as a graphic designer working for Link House publications on the magazine Exchange and Mart. In 1985 he joined his brother’s graphic design company Creative Studios later becoming a partner in the business.
His work:
From an early age Graham has spent a considerable amount of time painting. During the last 10 years he has become a full time painter producing many landscapes of Dorset, Somerset, and the West Country, selling his paintings at various galleries in the region.
Graham has always had a keen visual interest in landscapes and seascapes in all its various moods. Atmosphere, the effect of light passing over a scene, the various tones, colours and textures created are a never ending source of inspiration for him.
