Caroline had a Jewellery and Silversmithing BTEC Level 1 and decided to go for further study and graduated from Bournemouth University in 2010 with a First Class Honours degree in Applied Art and Design.

Since 2006, Caroline is the Education Manager at Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne, Dorset. She is responsible for the management of the extensive, year long, education programme for both adults and children. She also arranges and leads outreach work with various sections of the community connected to the exhibition programme; this includes working with older people, families from deprived backgrounds and people from different ethnic backgrounds. She also assists in the installation of exhibitions and managing events.

Her work:

Caroline began working in her chosen medium of anodised aluminium in 2007. She handprints using her own unique designs, which are cut into small printing blocks, with a lino cutter. She then dyes, using industrial dyes and powder paints, to vibrant effect creating a range of jewellery, home and garden accents and sculpture.

Caroline is constantly inspired by the beautiful Dorset countryside where she lives, its flora, fauna, insects and animals. Recently she has been developing a brand new range of jewellery using domed segments of her anodised aluminium; this jewellery involves hand printing and dying flat sheets of the metal, which are then sealed to retain the colour. Following this process each piece is hand-punched to create the cone like shape, then has to be drilled, filed and finished one piece at a time, taking between 1 to 5 days to create each unique necklace.
